My name is Tracey. This is my story of how I was a client and became an employee of A Caring Vet. Seven years ago my dog Harley had to have emergency surgery. Harley was in labor and the puppy got stuck in the birth canal. This meant she had to have a C-section. it was 4:30 pm and the vet closed at 5:00 pm. I came to A Caring Vet frantic and scared. The first thing they did was told me "everything would be fine", and it would be. I came to pick Harley up at 10:00 pm that night. They stay late to save my Harley. I was so grateful for everything they did. At that time they did not have a receptionist, only the doctor and his nurse. I told the doctor I would come and be his receptionist and volunteer my time. After 6 months, Doctor Hansen offered me a job and I have been here ever since. I have come to love and respect the doctors I work with. I see the hard days when we lose a patient. I see the good days when we get to play with puppies and kittens. But the best days are when we get to save a life. When a patient comes in hit by a car or really sick, we get to be a part of that patients story. We get to see the bad turn to good. When a body is broken, then it coming back in running and waging it tail. I now work at a job I can honestly say I love. I went from receptionist to office manger. I have meet so many new clients that I respect. I don't have any plans for leaving A Caring Vet. This has been a Great company to work for.
