Katie grew up on a ranch with lots of animals, which led to her love of animals and desire to work with them. During her childhood, she worked with her grandfather at a farrier shoeing horses. She loves her big mastiff, Bear, and has some chickens and cows as well. She still loves to work on the ranch with the cows. Her favorite animal is panda bears.
